Blush was created with the thought in mind that not all restaurants are created equally. While most restaurants’ primary goal is to provide nourishment, Blush was designed to provide an unforgettable experience. To do this we envisioned a space that provides an escape from the stresses of the outside world, a culinary journey that challenges and excites, with fresh seasonal ingredients and a care for the health and well being of where the products are grown and raised. Our ever changing menu is a nod to our staffs’ creativity and genuine care for the products that we work with, and we all relish in the excitement of being able to share these adaptations with our guests. From a design aspect, the restaurant was created to provide a space that promotes relaxation and transports you to your favorite holiday destination. While on holiday, our cares and worries are behind us and we focus our attention on enjoying the people and environment we are in. Our goal was to blend old and new with a modern take on antique chic. Our historical building, built in 1914, was tastefully adorned with floral wall paper, velvet green sofas and still maintains its original pine wood floors. While sitting in the dimly lit dining room you are transported to Paris in the 1890’s with touches of gold and marble bestrewn throughout the room. The patio was meant to mimic the Mediterranean areas of Italy, France and Greece with its white walls, covered pergola and touches of flowers and vines all while sitting back and relaxing with a glass of champagne and listing to our revolving set of talented DJs. Blush is not in the service business, we are in the hospitality business. Our mission is to ensure that each guest receives a level of attention that is memorable and unwavering. Everyone has had an incredible meal once in their life; either to celebrate a milestone, a first date, or just a highly rated restaurant. Most will not remember the appetizers that were ordered, or the entree that left them scraping the plate, but they will remember how they felt at that moment. Memorable moments stick to us not because of what we were served, but how special we felt when we were enjoying them. That’s what Blush strives to achieve with each guest that walks through our floral archways.
