Blush Restaurant & Bakery | Our Story

About Us

Blush was born from a simple belief: not all restaurants are created equal. After more than twelve years in the restaurant business, owners Tanya and Efren built Blush with one goal — to create an escape. Our 1914 historic building sets the stage: original pine floors, velvet green sofas, candlelit dining that feels like Paris in the 1890s, and a Mediterranean-inspired patio made for lingering over a glass of champagne. Every detail was designed to make you forget the outside world the moment you step through our floral archway. But the experience doesn't stop at the ambiance. We believe what goes into your body matters just as much as how it's presented. Our ever-changing menu is built on locally sourced ingredients, cooked with tallow, free of refined sugars, and made completely fresh in-house — because we care about what our community puts on their table. We're not in the service business. We're in the hospitality business, and that means taking care of you from the very first bite.

Tanya Benavides and Efren Moreno opened Blush in 2023 with one guiding belief: guests may forget the dishes, but they will never forget how a place made them feel.
Community-Rooted Food You Can Feel Good About

Community-Rooted Food You Can Feel Good About

Not every restaurant thinks about where their ingredients come from — we do. From locally sourced produce to cooking with tallow and eliminating refined sugars, every decision in our kitchen is made with your health and well-being in mind. We even use our own RO water system, because the details matter. Fresh, honest food. That's the Blush standard.
Heritage on Every Plate

Heritage on Every Plate

Tanya's Mexican roots and Efren's Puerto Rican heritage converge in a menu that defies easy description — elevated, ever-changing, and unafraid to surprise you with caviar-crowned potatoes or a perfect chicken-and-croffle.

Hospitality, Not Just Service

Hospitality, Not Just Service

Every person who walks through the door is treated as the most important person in the room — a standard Tanya and Efren hold as fiercely as any recipe.
